Biography & Career
Kirill began playing drums at the age of 16. To improve his technical skills Kirill requested
support of Yury Bobrushkin, a famed teacher from Yekaterinburg. At the beginning Kirill
visited private lessons of Yury Bobrushkin and then in 2005-2009 he studied in his class at
Sverdlovsk P.I. Tchaikovsky Musical College. During the academic years Kirill participated in
the musical project “Max Dmitrieff & Katherine’s Favorites”.
During the academic year 2009-2010 Kirill worked as a teacher at Music School No. 1
named after M.P. Frolov. During 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 he worked as a teacher at Music
School No. 6.
In 2012-2013 he played in the orchestra of the Ural State Academic Russian Folk Choir.
Since 2013 he has been the artist of the Urals State Variety and Symphony Orchestra and
the artist of Sverdlovsk State Academic Theatre of The Musical Comedy.
Today Kirill is one of the most recognizable and in-demand jazz drummers of Yekaterinburg,
a resident of EverJazz club, a member of “Old Fashioned Trio” and “ASK Trio”. These bands
regularly work with foreign artists, primarily from the United States.
As a session musician Kirill worked with such artists as J.D. Walter, Nadia Washington,
Didier Lockwood, Bill Saxton, Valery Ponomarev, Vitaly Golovnev and many others.
