Biography & Career
Paulo Baldi is the drummer for The Claypool/Lennon Delirium 2015-present. Currently featured on their new album "South Of Reality" with Sean Lennon. Paulo is a long-time drummer for Les Claypool going back to 2001. He's been featured in DRUM! Magazine and performed most recently on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Paulo also made appearances on David Letterman, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and many others.
Paulo played drums for Cake from 2003-2015 appearing on "Showroom of Compassion", "B-Sides and Rarities" and "Pressure Chief". He's a multi-percussionist performing and recording Indian, Arabic and Latin music during his time living in San Francisco from 1999-2013. Featured on numerous recordings with the Ali Khan family playing tabla, doumbec and conga drumming.
Paulo was in the prog-punk band Deadweight of San Francisco, the easy going bar band Faraway Brothers, the heavy rock trio of EMT and the southwest-green chile-inspired bands Liar and Alien Lovestock in the mid-90's.
